Kyle Brightman is a college astronomy student who happens to run into Stella—a happy-go-lucky space angel whose accidental collision with a meteor caused her to become trapped on earth. But amid the exciting escapades of this novice earthling, the two soon discover that outer space is falling apart without the guidance of a space angel, and need to somehow quickly get Stella back into the cosmos before it is too late...
InterStella: Out of This World is an all-ages graphic novel that I am both writing and illustrating. I have been scripting, thumbnailing, and sketching out the story over the last decade and am getting ready to break ground on the pages themselves. My mini comic, InterStella: Space Angel, is the “prelude” to this graphic novel; introducing Stella as well as setting the stage for the story that is to come. So stick around and keep checking this page and my blog for more updates as I get ready to release InterStella: Out of This World!

Kyle Brightman is a college student who is double majoring in Astrophysics and Aerospace Engineering (he’s a smart kid). He loves anything related to astronomy, and even built a replica of the Apollo spacesuit with his dad when he was thirteen. After his father’s passing from cancer shortly thereafter, Kyle is determined to follow in his father’s footsteps and become a NASA scientist, although he also secretly wishes to be an astronaut…
Stella
Stella is a space angel whose duty is to watch over the earth and keep space in order. She handles tasks from replacing burnt out stars to sweeping the asteroid fields, and while she loves being in space, she also is fascinated by life on earth. When a stray meteor accidentally knocks her to earth, she gets a chance to witness life on the blue planet up close, including both the good and bad sides of human nature…
